Duties
at Sports Car Market, a monthly print magazine with 20,000 subscribers, and
Corvette Market, a quarterly print magazine with 4,000 subscribers, include
assigning stories to a team of freelance writers around the world, writing
product reviews and feature stories, gathering, organizing, and captioning
photos, maintaining and editing an online database, data compilation and
research, fact checking, developmental editing, copyediting and proofreading
articles in layout, coordinating distribution to special events and overseeing
staff presence at those events, working with industry PR reps for source
materials and breaking news, and setting, tracking, and enforcing weekly and

Additionally,
SCM and CM each have their own opt-in weekly e-newsletters, for which I provide
regular content, while also editing content gleaned from other sources and
giving final proof before scheduling. Each newsletter is also available on the SCM
